Are you aware of the free local help for your business?

· SME,Business support,Grants,Funding,Government Support

Overview

I wrote a blog last year about accessing grant funding in the U.K. However, things have changed quiet substantially since then.

So based on the questions I have been getting this is a quick post with some of those links from my previous blog copied below.

Note: These are government funded and free for you to contact. Some also have access to EU funding (still in place until end of year 2021).

Links per country

In England, there are a network of 38 Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEP) and a network of 38 Growth hubs.

The LEPs are:

The growth hubs are:

Outside of England - Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have their own devolved enterprise support structures:

Scotland - Gateway Offices (57 offices across the country)

Wales -Enterprise Zones

Northern Ireland - Local Enterprise Agencies

Final thought

As these are unprecedented times, it is important to talk and one other resource you may not be aware of is to contact your local Citizen's advise, if you feel you are facing personal financial difficulties.

Check here to find your local office.

https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/

They can sign post you to a number of suitable resources and are speaking to more and more business owners.
